Will it matter in the Long run?

I think this is the occasional burning question at the fore front of every over thinker's mind, especially when encountering serious matters.

I got a notice telling me that I haven't posted in 89 days.A full 89 days, thats pretty long. It truly has not felt that long. Each day, it felt like suffocating inspiration but not a solid 89 days.

Likewise in life, there are things that we overlook and leave to chance and time. When we feel incapable of handling the matter, we figure time is more powerful a healer than we could ever be to our own greivance and if Time doesn't work, maybe we will get lucky and chance might waltz in and save our butts.

I've heard persons say that its good to think to oneself whether whatever we're stressing about will matter in 5 years time and thats an excellent way of  gauging how much emotion is fair enough to dish out. I think thats perfectly dandy. The dark cloud rolled in for me when I wonder how long a problem will have to resurface before it dissipates completely.

I believe that if we have not learnt our lesson, situations will continue to present themselves often times in greater degrees till we know full well and better.

This in all honesty was inspired by a picture I saw on facebook of three individuals I know. They're all in medical school. They will be doctors. Let's say that started off 3 years ago-they would know that in two more years if all goes well, that white coats, stethescopes and waiting rooms of coughing, hacking and ailements is as good as theirs. Its a decision made in advance of a serious goal.

We truly do not know what the future holds. We can guess, hope, speculate,'Positive think" and even horoscope (for those who are into that) our way into it but we truly have no idea. It really begs the question will all this matter in the long run.

Depending on what we want to achieve, we know we need to start laying down the blocks. We need to start paving the way to our future brick by brick. If a block is laid down ever day, one day we will have a wall. If a chapter is read every day, one day the book will be completed. If we..then this will.

The scary thing is that we know all this and still many persons reach an age where they expected the end result with nothing to show for it . I'm not talk about 40 years old, still leaving with mom, no chick ,no child. Classic scenario aside, there are younger individuals as well as eldery persons who simply are not satisified with what they have  accomplished in life.

Many of us pay into insurance schemes. A couple hundred dollars to ensure that this is taken care of in our life. I think we often bypass the free insurance package which is within ourselves and our untapped potential. Just like my 89 day notification- I simply had no idea it had been so long. I never wanted so much time to lapse and it completely blindsided..(thankfully into action.)

Unfortunately, many of us will want to reap when it is time to harvest but we will find that we did not sow anything. We may want returns from ventures we did not invest. We may ..but we won't.

This may be coming before your goal or in the midst of your neglected passion and that too is still an opportune moment. We would all like the satisfaction of now since now is all we have, to be able to pull up our great wall of china and say to ourselves..what a great feat! and how proud we are our sweat now turned silver. Life however does not work that way for all of us.

If you have a long arduous journey you will pack accordingly. Likewise if you have your heart set on greater passions you must act like a man or woman of these greater passion. If you envision a strong man you must be prepared to do what a weak man cannot. You must have the guts to put your foot down and stand tall where others cower.

If we do not act in accordance with our vision, we hinder the manifestation process and the fire in our hearts and minds will be stifled-releasing only puffs of smoke into the realm it belongs. Much like smoke, vision-goals not acted upon seem ghostly and non-existance. A true fire spreads fire. A fire in your mind links with the fire in your mind and spread a fire to your body.It spreads fire to those you encounter. It roars and even when dimming won't die- just like the bush fire my father thought was out but went ablaze again- It just doesn't die that way.

Visualize that your goal is wall. Ask yourself this, have I laid down the bricks? Am I putting them down correctly and at a pace which accelerates its completion without compromising on quality...

Most importantly...Will this, or won't this matter to me in the Long run and if I am already aware that I am on the wrong track, how much more time am I going to waste going down a road that is not in accordance with the goal.

Will this matter in the long run?.

Introspective Stella.
