As an English and Literature enthusiast,you would realize by now that ever so often I enjoy including the definition of words.

 Lesson 1- Karma. At least once in your life, I'm sure you've heard "Karma is a bitch" or "what goes around comes around". Well,for formality's sake and a little ice breaking knowledge, Karma is a Hindu and Buddhist principle. The free online dictionary coins it as.."The total effect of a person's actions and conduct during the successive phases of the person's existence, regarded as determining the person's destiny.".. it even goes as far to say  a distinctive atmosphere or feeling.

Ponder on this. This is you..and Karma is a mirror.This is you standing in front the mirror. That is how life works. You will see a reflection. Therefore- If Karma is a bitch...well,dear friend...I'm sure you already understand.
I'm not trying to be sassy but often times when I've heard persons speak about it,its always in relation to someone's shit catching up with them. What you do will be done to you. I am a firm believer of that. I'm sure at this point some of you are sitting there afraid, knowing the inevitably of all the crap that you've once done coming right back to punch you in the face. You may realize that there are always people who "have". They never seem to lack for anything. If you look closer you might realize that these people are often the givers. They give..so things are GIVEN to them. It is rare that you would find someone who doesn't care about anyone,having persons care about them. You care?..You most likely have people who care about you around you. If you can't see them. You may just have to open your eyes.

OF COURSE there are things that happen to you that you have not done for example someone stealing from you doesn't mean that you have stolen from anyone. We know that there are exceptions in life. 

Someone told me this true story. This guy has been stealing from persons.He never thought very much of it. It was just something he did. He never quite bothered himself with the thoughts of his "victims" if we must term it that way;not until one day his sister came home in tears because her phone has been stolen from her. This guy got upset. The irony..right? He wanted to go out! Fight! Avenge his sister!...till it had dawned on him that the violation his sister felt was no different to what he has been dishing out every time a need arose. 

We have all made mistakes. Stupid ones, some more stupid than others. They will all catch up unless we're able to right the wrong if that window is still open. There are somethings that you cannot undo and they're left to haunt you till forgiveness comes into the picture.

Karma is a just force.

Cheaters will eventually be cheated on.
Thieves will eventually be stolen from.
I've even heard that rapists get molested in prison..and here we see the just yet callous force at work again.

My point here is that we really need to be more aware of how things work as oppose to the cliches' perpetuated that we repeat without a fair understanding. Not all things in life are just but Karma is not a bad thing. As humans, statistics show that very few of us dwell on the positive side of things. We have many subconscious and automatic thoughts that just slide under the radar.  This is all in accordance with one of my favourite principles. As a man thinketh-so is he. Translated here for my convenience ,that as you do..so it shall be done to you. You will be affected by the things that you do to others,if not directly by the persons you have affected but by a circumstance which will cause you as much mental anguish as you dished out.

People don't say things like..Do onto others as you would like done to you for no reason.

The long and short of this now that we have established this fair understanding is that "My name is Karma and I am NOT a bitch"
