Date Night Check list.

A date shouldn't been a scary thing,but it can be intimidating.I'm not sure if boys fuss much but most girls tend to micromanage the pre-date experience. I can testify to that lurking thought at the back of my mind which is like- what in the world do I wear?!???!!!?! What you wear is sooo important. If you have a good guy who genuinely cares about you the person, he won't over analyse what you have on,but I would be lying if I said your outfit doesn't matter.

You want to select something which is very in tune with your personality-nothing loud,you don't want to frighten the guy.Oh!..lol and yes, even if we try hard-we never want to look like we have. On any given day,its possible to not put much effort into what you wear and stuff but when you like/care about a guy-you want to put your best foot forward-you want to represent yourself in the best way possible...sooo..he can like you back..you know *wink wink*

Anyway. This isn't the point. I'm not gona tell you how to dress or anything. I am gona be your date conscious angel.

Ladies!!. *cracks knuckles and puts on commander hat*.. Time to get down to business.

1. KNOW who you're going out with. I cannot begin to emphasize  this and for loads of reasons. The world can be a scary place with sick people. Don't be "date hungry" and say yes to every tom-dick & harry who asks you out. Get to know as much as you can about this person before you decide to go stepping 60 n 3/4 with any guy. Stay away from guys who are easily angered. You don't want someone getting aggressive with you if the night is going south. If this person is overly-sexualized- you might want to stay away as well.His main intention is to dance in your panties and I'm pretty sure that's not whats on your agenda for an innocent date night.

2.Ladies/Gents/Readers. Cream your skin.Ashy skin is a sight for sore eyes. Moisturized skin will glow and you would want to come across as the person who takes good care of themselves. Cream your feet Ladies!!!!!!-_- Don't go stepping out into sandals and open toe shoes with jacked up polish. If its chipping,take it all off. Its not fashionable. Crackle over coat polish is a thing of its own. Don't make yours up.

3.Clean your ears! Always be mindful to clean your ears after your shower. You don't want them looking like a bat cave or something. It sounds embarrassing buy this goes for guys and girls. Don't go piercing your ear drums and stuff but ensure your keep such nooks and crannies clean.

4.. Lately, all sorts of weapon-like manicures manicures have come into the spot light. Now,whilst I personally do not fancy them, I can respect the taste of persons who do. If you have acrylic nails-make sure they are clean underneath. Guys, we don't need jagged-egdes ripping into our skin or delicate fibres of our clothes. Talons are for birds or prey-not people.

5.This may not apply for guys, but depending on the outting,women sometimes need to start getting ready hours before in order to "dress to impress" and be punctual. Its hard to pencil in a little time to eat amidst styling hair, pressing clothes, co-ordinating and all that jazz. Don't leave home starved! You don't want your belly making tribal noises during the date. Take a moment to munch enough to ward off loud hunger. Don't feast before either. It may be unflattering for those of us females who are a little endowed in the midsection area. Plus, your date might be offended or think you're prissy if you don't want to eat together.




6. If you in fact followed step 5. Remember step Six. BRUSH your teeth, Floss them, Gargle, clean your tongue. Put in new teeth if you have too. What will keep the night fresh is your smile.Fresh breath will also keep your companion happy and unafraid to be in your zone. It will also spare him the embarrassment of having to fake sinus issues or migraines or any other master excuse he can formulate to escape rancid breath.Keep your lips moist.Dry lips isn't appealing-they make you look thirsty...literally.(lol)

7. Ladies. If you're wearing strapless tops or clothes where your underarms are exposed-be mindful of this. Solid anti-perspirant, which is my preference has a tendancy to make "white lint looking balls" under your arms if you're the type to "go-ham" on the deodorant. Be sure to use as much as you need but also remember to wipe away the clumps. Its not pretty. Oh- and shave under your arm (before you come to jam) (Its a lucian song).

8.If you are wear black. Put your clothes on FIRST then apply deodorant. Unless you have mastered it the other way. Trust me, you'll have the most unappealing zebra print stretching down your side. Shirt first. Roll-on last. Remember to wear "roll-on"

9. Ladies, wear the appropriate underwear. If you intend to wear something white. You must wear black underwear. You could opt for the thong-however loose,sagging buttocks is not as appealing to the eyes as most women think. If you are going to be in a cold environment. Wear a padded bra. You don't want "headlights" stealing his eye contact. You want him looking at your face eyes not your chest eyes.

10. Yes, you may have a shoe that would work wonders with this outfit but if you see its starting to talk /unstick,just wear something else. Don't risk such humilation. Unless, you're like me, who more often than not has an extra pair of shoes at all times. Yes. I am strange. No shame in the game bruh !!0_o

11. Remove the sleep from your eyes. No dry/ wet wax. I think that's clear.

12.Keep your nose clean. No "boogers" or "ca-ca-neh"

13.Ladies, as aware as your may be of your cycle.Its always a good idea to carry around a little monthly protection,whatever your preference-pad/tampon.

14. If you're wearing black. Do a link roller check before you leave. Most times,its hard to see the white speck till you step out your house...so just to be sure.Swipe yourself. Everyone should own a lint roller. It works magic on older black clothing. You'll be able to stretch some wears out of your wardrobe.

15.Make sure persons are aware of who you're going out with and give an estimated time as to when persons should expect you by.

Don't be frightened by Step 15. Don't get anxiety attacks over any of what I've said. Keep your cool. HAVE FUN! Laugh & MOST IMPORTANTLY...be yourself...if it doesn't work or you guys don't click..than it wasn't meant to be.

Aye aye aye!..LAYYDAYSS *british accent* Don't step out that door without your signature fragrance. Whip out your special scent or favorite one.

Guys!..whip out that musk and allure your lady with your fresh man scent...Leme tell you....a great smelling,clean guy is one of the wonders of the world.
