Lately,I haven't been in the best of health.
I've been recuperating at home but I will admit I'm not recovering as quickly as I would have hoped.
In the mean time,whilst being nursed by parents and prescription upon prescription,I've been trying to nurse my mind as well. I understand the role of the mind and the importance of thinking "well" so as to be well.
What I find bothersome, is that even in an attempt to control oneself,we cannot always control other people.
People will say things and do things which contradicts the essence of the new atmosphere you're creating for yourself. Allow these hurtful and negative comment to roll off of you like water does off a ducks back.
Sometimes it doesn't make sense to entertain certain comments and conversations. It does nothing but steal precious peace of mind. Trust that some people have unresolved issues and they're looking to vent somewhere. Its not you..Its them..Don't be bothered bumpkins...Learning to ignore is an asset that will save you from the stress of over thinking.
