Keeping it real

Growing up..its absolutely important for one to gain a sense of oneself and establish his or her identity. We see the movies of people going out trying to find themselves all the time..so i'm sure its importance is imprinted on our minds..Anyway..Keeping it real and finding myself..has taken a different level of importance to me..living my life..in the Caribbean..in st lucia..in a location i shan't disclose..in a school i won't disclose either..with people..whose names i won't say..

I know i'm being really private about it..but i suppose even in your life..there are things you observe..but you just can't and won't say..for the sake of being discrete. I've made my observations none the less..and i'm a stronger person now for acting upon my realizations.

You really need to analyze how you feel..and why you feel the way you do..because your environment or the people you surround yourself with..have a great impact on your stress level, your perception and how positive or negative you are on a given day. Even friends can strip you of your positive vibes without even realizing. Thereeeee foreee..OPEN YOUR EYES..SEE HOW YOU FEEL..AND HELP YOURSELF OUT. Its okay to give people a bit of distance when you're feeling drained..allow yourself to recuperate. If you've got a friend whose a constant pain in the...or just a downer most of the time..speak to the friend ..and journey together...Freeing yourself from negative people and situations can really give you the necessary mental space to scope out the true you.

Adversity, too, will show you who you are..whether you're super strong and got Cojones(balls) as i like to call them..or if you're a little weak and in need of developing your core values as an individual..the rules with which you will govern your life.. dictating what you stand and do not stand for...
Embrace the challenges and use them as opportunities to make you strong. Use the "failed exams"..break ups and fall outs, broke days and hard days to rise above the daily drag.

Speak your mind and be polite
be persistent whilst you fight..
fight for your identity
to be the best you..that you can be..

Soulfully Yours
Stella
